Marquee Information
If you are having your party in a marquee then this page is for you! It sets out our simple requirements in order for your party to go smoothly without any problems whatsoever. We have invested a huge amount of money in our equipment for your enjoyment therefore we have put together this page with a few simple guidelines.
Mains Power
We require two separate, safe and serviceable 16A Ceeform IP44 IEC309 mains sockets similiar to the one shown below in the DJ’s immediate working area.
These must be clean, safe and not shared with other loads such as kitchen equipment. It cannot be stressed enough that these supplies MUST be exclusive for the DJ’s use. No catering equipment or fridges, etc. must be used on this ring main. If generator power is supplied, this must be a high-quality, regulated generator specifically designed to provide power for electronic equipment. Should the mains supply provided cause any damage to our equipment, DISCOfever will claim costs for repairs or replacement and lost earnings.
On arrival, DISCOfever will check and monitor the power at each function. Should these requirements be overlooked for any reason we will not connect to the supply.
Space
This is dependant on the size of the marquee but there needs to be a clear area of no less than 6ft (1.8m) from the marquee wall for the DJ to set up in. The DJ cannot set up on, or partially on a dancefloor. The DJ will also need a clear height of 10ft (3m) (for overhead lighting) and a minimum width of 11.5ft (3.5m) to set up in.
The area set aside for the DJ MUST be flat, sheltered, covered with a ground sheet and dry. DISCOfever will not set up on ground that slopes or is clearly unsafe and poses a risk to DISCOfever, the client or their guests.
If you are unsure about ANY of the above, please get in touch.
