HOW DO I BOOK YOU?
It’s really simple, you get in touch and give me some basic details. I’ll then email you a hire agreement for you to review which you can sign online. All you need to do then is pay the deposit to secure the date and that’s it!
WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU PLAY?
To answer this question simply…whatever you want me to play! I’m always happy to be given a list of songs you like and don’t like and on the night I will gladly take requests from your guests too. Alternatively, if you’re happy to leave me to it then that’s fine, I’ll use my experience to get everyone moving!
WHAT SORT OF EVENTS DO YOU DO?
My experience is wide and varied so as well as weddings I can also cater for birthday parties for all ages, engagements, company functions, charity balls, Christmas and New Year parties, school proms, college fresher parties and glitzy awards evenings!
WHAT EQUIPMENT WILL YOU BRING?
I’ll bring everything that’s needed to get the party started…decks, speakers, lights and a smart DJ booth to hide all the wires and keep everything neat. The lighting is designed in a way to not flash in people’s eyes but can be upgraded if you want that full-on nightclub effect!
DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?
Absolutely. If your venue needs to see proof of my public liability insurance or any electrical safety certificates then I am more than happy to email these to you.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SET UP?
Once the equipment is in the venue it takes roughly an hour to set everything up safely and do a soundcheck. I can then liaise with the venue or photographer to set the scene for the evening party.
HOW MUCH ROOM DO YOU NEED?
My equipment is fairly flexible and can fit into some really tight places. Ideally, I need a space at least 8ft wide by 4ft deep with an 8ft height clearance so that I can work safely.
WHAT TIME WILL YOU ARRIVE AT MY PARTY?
I always aim to arrive at least 90 minutes before I am due to start. This gives me enough time to get the equipment into the venue and set up. I always keep an eye on the traffic so that I never arrive late.
