Mood Lighting

Mood Lighting is a great way of visually enhancing the look of any function room or marquee.  Rooms are completely transformed with a splash of colour placed at strategic points within the layout of your chosen venue.  The lighting can even be colour co-ordinated to match your particular colour theme!

You can choose to uplight as much or as little as the room as you want.  Rather than light a whole function room, you could either just place our lights in the corners of the room, or you could choose to highlight room “features” such as pillars or fireplaces – there are no rules!  When mood lighting a marquee we suggest placing the units 3m to 5m apart to get the best effect.

Our mood lighting units use LED’s which are very bright yet use very little power.  LED-based lighting is also very child friendly when compared to floor standing lights that use standard lamps.  Hands can be placed directly on the LED’s themselves with the guarantee that there will be no burnt fingers!  Our lights are also eco-friendly, no more wasted heat being ejected into the atmosphere!

Our standard base package includes four floor standing units.  They will be delivered, installed and taken away at the end of the night.  You can choose to hire them on their own without our disco, or if you are having our disco we can offer you a special rate!

Examples

Here are just a few examples of our mood lighting in action…

Ashdown Park

The above picture was taken of the Knave at Ashdown Park Hotel.  We rarely never put mood lighting in here as we think it looks really special.  The clients’ colour choice was Purple and we think it looked really smart and enhanced an already fantastic part of the building even further.

mood_pelham

This picture was taken at Pelham House in Lewes, an old Council building in the centre of the town.  The room above is the main Council chamber, and like most across the country it contains a lot of wooden panels on the walls.  Luckily there are six white pillars that extend up to the ceiling that are just crying out to be lit up.  We placed a unit at the base of each one and we think the result is amazing.  As a result of this, we always provide the mood lights now for functions at this venue!

mood_ramada

This is the ballroom at the Ramada Jarvis hotel in Brighton.  There are no exterior windows in this room so it’s quite easy to create an effect that looks brilliant any time of the day.  There are four pillars that go from floor to ceiling and when you place a light at the base of each you get a stunning effect like the one you see above.
