It is without doubt one of the most important days of your life. Months if not years of preparation will go into planning your special day and you want it to be perfect.  There is only one opportunity to get this right so every decision you make is absolutely critical.  Refreshingly different entertainment with no cheesy disco lights, rambling on the microphone and certainly no flashing advertising banners.  We are there to play your favourite songs for you and your guests.

You are now planning for your big day and everything needs to be perfect.  You need to put your trust in a company who will make sure that they know what they are doing and that everything is how it should be, first time, no excuses.

Understanding YOUR needs…

Most DJ’s think they understand their clients needs and they don’t.  They are quite happy to sit there, not ask you any questions and tell you what your evening reception is going to be like.  Unlike them we listen to what YOU want and make suggestions based on your answers.  Almost every aspect of the service we offer is adaptable to your needs.  You don’t want nightclub-style lighting?  No problem.  You don’t want a play list containing “cheesy wedding music“?  No problem.  You want us to look after your musical requirements for the whole day?  Absolutely no problem!

The Ceremony

Music at a wedding can be something easily not given enough attention, but just as the flowers, dress, and location are crucial to setting the tone, music can be used as a way to convey your feelings, personalities, and to help your guests relax.

The ceremony itself is THE most important part of the day and it is absolutely essential that the music is perfect and delivered at the right moment.  You may already be thinking about entrusting the job of hitting the play button on your iPod at the right moment to a friend but if they get this wrong and play the wrong track or it’s TOO LOUD, it’s too late, they can’t go back and do it again.  You’ll be pleased to know that we can help you with this.   We have supplied the music for many ceremonies and by using an incredibly discreet audio system we can take the pressure and worry away and look after it all for you.  The main musical elements of the ceremony are the tracks played before you arrive, as you walk down the aisle, the signing of the register and again as you walk back up the aisle as a married couple.  We will work closely with the Registrar to make sure that the music you have chosen is appropriate (they have the final say, after all!) and when it is to be played.  We will also work with the photographer so that our equipment doesn’t feature in any of your ceremony photo’s.  Don’t leave it to chance, it’s the biggest day of your life and you need to know that you have competent people on hand to make sure that it runs flawlessly.

The Wedding Breakfast

After the ceremony you will no doubt spend hours posing for photographs before finally getting a chance to sit down for your wedding breakfast.  You can arrange for us to play soft background music during the meal to take away the silence whilst people are eating.  This can be either be done through our discreet audio system or through the disco equipment if you have opted for it to be set up earlier in the day.  A wireless microphone will be supplied which you can use for the speeches or indeed for any announcements that need to be made by your Toastmaster.  Again, we will make sure that the volume of the system is set correctly and will provide a microphone stand if required.

The Evening Disco

Some DJ’s enjoy taking their sound systems to a point where the music just doesn’t sound like music any more and the music is so loud it feels really uncomfortable.  Be assured that we value our own hearing as much as we care about yours and I am happy to tell you that we have invested in audio equipment that sounds exceptional at ANY level.

It’s the same with lighting, other DJ’s may like to bring countless numbers of random light effects hung from scaffolding.  It’s often unsightly, uncontrollable and results in a colourful mess,  I don’t know of any Bride who would want fast spinning lights whilst she is about to take to the dance floor for the first dance.

You Choose The Music

By listening to people we have discovered that some Mobile DJ’s prefer to choose their own music for your party. They have probably DJ’d at hundreds of parties previously so they will know which tunes are likely to pack the dance floor.  Whilst this is predominantly true we don’t know you or your guests and we have absolutely no idea what your favourite tunes are or what sort of music you think your guests will dance to.

Our internet-based planning system allows you to browse our extensive music library to choose your special first dance and build a playlist of your favourite songs.  Your guests can also have access to the system so they too can choose their favourite songs! You have total control over the songs they choose and it’s a great way of getting them involved in the planning of your special day!  And yes, we also accept requests on the night.

You might think that by doing this you are doing all the hard work for us, after all, you are paying for our experience and the ability to “read the crowd”.  This is true, but we also use our experience and musical knowledge to introduce some music you may not have thought of.

If you are more than happy to leave the music up to us, then that’s fine – we will do our absolute best to keep them dancing all night!
